In-house furniture projects for bookstores and stationery stores
In a bookstore or stationery store, effective space organization is essential for making it easier to find products, improving customer flow, and creating a comfortable shopping experience. Books, school supplies, office supplies, writing materials, arts and crafts, and seasonal products all need to be displayed in a clear, accessible, and well-structured manner.
The furniture should help organize a wide variety of items, make the most of every area of the store, and adapt to the daily rhythm of the business. Shelving, counters, display units, and storage solutions should combine durability, functionality, and a look that is consistent with the store’s identity.
Effective merchandising highlights new products, promotions, and key categories, while also streamlining the team’s work and enhancing the customer experience at the point of sale.
A project designed to organize, display, and sell more effectively
At Kider, we design furniture for bookstores and stationery shops, recognizing that every store needs to balance organization, product visibility, and a comfortable shopping experience. It’s not just about installing shelves; it’s about creating a space where customers can easily find their way around, discover new items, and quickly find what they’re looking for.
Our process allows you to turn your idea into reality
01
Advice
We begin by studying how the store actually operates: what product categories it carries, how customers move through the store, which areas need greater visibility, and what the staff’s day-to-day needs are. Bookstores and stationery shops carry a wide variety of products, ranging from books and notebooks to school supplies, office supplies, writing instruments, gifts, and seasonal promotions.
Based on site visits, measurements, and a review of the plans, we establish a framework that allows us to develop a project consistent with the business’s operations and commercial objectives.
02
Design
With all the information gathered, we design a solution tailored to the store’s identity and the way it wants to showcase its products. We plan the layout of shelves, counters, display units, and promotional areas to make it easier for customers to find what they’re looking for, improve traffic flow, and make the most of every available meter.
The goal is to create a well-organized, comfortable, and easy-to-navigate space where customers can find what they need and discover other products during their visit.
03
Development
Before moving on to production, we develop 3D renderings that allow you to visualize what the bookstore or stationery store will look like once it’s set up. This phase makes it easier to review layout paths, heights, display areas, customer service points, and storage solutions.
This allows us to fine-tune every detail with greater precision and ensure that the project meets both the desired aesthetic and the practical needs of the establishment.
04
Manufacturing
We manufacture our furniture at our three production facilities in Spain, using materials and finishes designed to withstand the daily wear and tear typical of bookstores and stationery stores.
We directly oversee every stage of the process—from component quality to delivery times—to ensure that our furniture is sturdy, durable, and consistent with the approved design.
05
Implantation
We handle the preparation, transportation, and assembly of the furniture so that the opening, remodeling, or renovation of the space proceeds in an orderly and efficient manner.
Our team installs shelving, counters, display units, and support solutions with precision, ensuring that the retail location is ready to begin operations from day one.
06
After-sales
After installation, we remain available through our after-sales service to address any adjustments, expansions, or needs that may arise as the space is used.
We also offer maintenance plans designed to preserve the durability of the furniture and ensure that the bookstore or stationery store continues to operate properly over time.
