In-house furniture projects for drugstores
In a drugstore, the space must be set up to handle everyday products, fast-moving items, and categories that are very different from one another. Cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, fragrances, cosmetics, air fresheners, paper products, small household items, and seasonal products all require a clear, accessible, and easy-to-maintain organization system.
The shelving should help clearly separate product families, facilitate frequent restocking, and improve the visibility of items that customers purchase regularly or on impulse. It is also important to have durable solutions capable of supporting a variety of formats, heavy packaging, and products that require neat and secure display.
A well-planned layout allows the drugstore to operate more efficiently, with convenient customer flow paths, easy-to-navigate aisles, and well-integrated promotional areas. The result is a retail space that is more practical for the staff and more intuitive for customers, where every product has its place without sacrificing sales potential.
Kider as a partner
At Kider, we design furniture for drugstores with a focus on establishments where organization, visibility, and ease of restocking are essential. These stores carry a wide variety of everyday items: household cleaning products, personal hygiene items, fragrances, cosmetics, toilet paper, home fragrances, small household accessories, and seasonal products. Each product category requires clear display so that customers can easily find what they’re looking for.
Our process allows you to turn your idea into reality
01
Advice
We began by studying the type of drugstore, the breadth of its product assortment, and the way customers shop within the store. This sector features a mix of cleaning products, personal hygiene items, fragrances, cosmetics, air fresheners, toilet paper, small household items, and seasonal products—many of which are frequently purchased and have high turnover.
We also analyze which areas need more visibility, how daily restocking is carried out, and which product categories require a more organized or accessible display. Using this information, we develop an initial proposal to help make better use of the space, improve the clarity of the shelf layout, and make the team’s work easier.
02
Design
Based on our preliminary analysis, we developed a solution tailored to the drugstore’s brand image and the actual organization of its product lineup. We arranged shelves, counters, promotional displays, impulse-buy areas, and storage spaces so that each product category has its own distinct presence and customers can easily find their way around.
The goal is to create a clear, practical, and convenient retail space where everyday products are easy to find and promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal campaigns can be seamlessly integrated into the shopping experience.
03
Development
Before production begins, we develop the project using 3D visualizations that allow us to review the store’s entire layout. This phase helps us verify the layout of product categories, shelf capacity, the location of promotional areas, and the relationship between product display, customer flow, and customer service.
This allows us to fine-tune every detail with greater precision and ensure that the furniture aligns with both the store’s brand image and the operational needs of a drugstore with a wide range of products, various formats, and constant restocking.
04
Manufacturing
We manufacture the furniture at our three production facilities in Spain, using materials and finishes designed to withstand daily use and the typical wear and tear of these types of establishments.
We directly oversee quality, finishes, and production timelines to deliver durable, functional solutions that are consistent with the approved design. In a drugstore, the furniture must help maintain order, accommodate different product formats, and retain a professional appearance even under heavy use.
05
Implantation
We coordinate the preparation, transportation, and assembly of the furniture at the point of sale, ensuring that each item is installed according to the specified layout. Our team sets up shelving units, counters, end caps, display units, and support areas in a precise and orderly manner.
A well-executed store layout allows the drugstore to begin operating with a clear display, convenient shopping routes, and an organization designed to facilitate both quick shopping and the team’s day-to-day management.
06
After-sales
After installation, we continue to support the customer with specialized after-sales service. We address any adjustments, expansions, or needs that may arise once the store is up and running.
We also offer maintenance plans to keep the furniture in good condition and ensure that the space continues to meet the daily demands of the drugstore, maintaining its functionality, durability, and appearance over time.
