Furniture Design for Sports Stores
Specific needs of the sector
In-house projects in sports store furniture
In a sporting goods store, the space must accommodate a wide variety of products, formats, and display needs. Footwear, apparel, accessories, technical gear, and specialized equipment all require a clear, flexible, and easy-to-navigate layout so that customers can comfortably compare, try on, and make their selections.
Furniture should help organize very different product categories, highlight key products, and adapt to the business rhythm of each season. Shelving units, wall displays, display stands, coat racks, and counters must combine durability, functionality, and a look that aligns with the dynamic nature of the sports industry.
A well-planned store layout improves product visibility, makes the team’s work easier, and creates a more organized, convenient, and sales-oriented shopping experience.
A comprehensive solution for equipping sports stores
At Kider, we design furniture for sports stores, taking into account the variety of products, categories, and customer pathways found in these types of spaces. A sports store needs to organize its products effectively, make it easy to compare items, and create a comfortable shopping experience—both for those looking for technical gear and for those who come in to discover new options.
Our process allows you to turn your idea into reality
01
Advice
Before we begin designing, we analyze how the store operates: what sports it focuses on, the relative importance of apparel, footwear, and technical gear, how customers move through the store, and which areas need to be highlighted.
We also review blueprints, measurements, and operational requirements to develop a solution that fits the available space, the type of product, and the business’s commercial objectives.
02
Design
Using that information, we developed a proposal tailored to the store’s identity and its sales approach. We arranged murals, shelves, clothing racks, display units, counters, and promotional areas so that each category has its own space and customers can easily find their way around.
The goal is to create a comfortable, dynamic space that is ready to adapt to seasonal changes, campaigns, new collections, or changes in inventory.
03
Development
Before starting production, we create 3D renderings that show what the sports store will look like once it’s up and running. This phase helps us review layout, space, heights, key areas, and customer service points.
This allows us to fine-tune every detail before production and ensure that the final result meets both the desired aesthetic and the practical needs of the establishment.
04
Manufacturing
We manufacture the furniture at our three production facilities in Spain, using materials and finishes designed to withstand the heavy use typical of a sporting goods store.
We directly monitor quality, deadlines, and every stage of the process to deliver robust, durable solutions that are consistent with the approved design.
05
Implantation
We coordinate the preparation, transportation, and installation of the furniture, ensuring that each item arrives at the point of sale and is placed according to the approved design.
Our team installs murals, counters, display units, clothing racks, and support structures with precision, ensuring the store is ready to open on day one.
06
After-sales
Once the installation is complete, we continue to provide support through our after-sales service. We address any adjustments, expansions, or needs that may arise from the daily use of the space.
We also offer maintenance plans to extend the life of the furniture and ensure that the sports store remains fully functional over time.
